Dr. Preston's academic journey began at Baylor University, where she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Medical Humanities. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston in 2009.

Building upon her academic achievements, Dr. Preston embarked on a comprehensive training program. She completed her Internship in Medicine and Pediatrics at The University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston, further honing her skills and expertise. This was followed by a Neurology Residency and Fellowship, specializing in Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular medicine, where she completed her training in June 2014.

With her extensive training and expertise, Dr. Preston joined Patient-Centered Neurology in the Memorial City area of Houston. During her tenure there, she demonstrated exceptional skill in evaluating and treating a wide range of neurological disorders, including strokes, seizures, Parkinson's disease, tremors, headaches, peripheral neuropathy, and many others. Her commitment to patient well-being and compassionate care has earned her recognition as one of the Top Doctors and Favorite Residents Teachers.

Dr. Preston is affiliated with prestigious medical institutions, including Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.
